On the hilltop village
with only 300 others.
We spent a week
in Monticchiello - Tuscany
Not far away was
Montepulciano
Montalcino
and just over the next hill
Pienza
Tuscany seems to have
its own colour pallet of greens and ochre.
From our 2006 "once in a lifetime trip"
Back in 2014 for the L'Eroica cycling event.
Can't wait.
I agree about Tuscany, it does have a very unique look to it, especially in the summer. I never imagined that tans and golds could look lush but Tuscany pulls it off.
ReplyDeleteSue talks about returning to France all of the time without so much of a mention about Italy but come next year, I will have my way Craig - that is before we return to France which will be our sixth visit. Who would have thunk!!!
DeleteHow I wish I could just pop in and out of all these places in Europe. It is fun going 'by blog' but I would like to also put my feet on the ground there. :-) Take care Diane
