What a magnificent arena in which to play the beautiful game.... even if the cricket played by my compatriots hasn't been so beautiful, lately!!! ;o(
ReplyDeleteThe grandstand in the 1860s-70s (first photo) was gorgeous. Somebody took a lot of time designing something functional, of course, but also attractive.
