Its a shame that we discover this life later in our retirement years although we are getting to know some younger people whom have realised the life-style earlier than us Diane.
I love the open views, the clean air and the shops along the town's high street. I had a labrador when I lived in regional Victoria (Bendigo) and he was the happiest animal on the planet.
Another thing Hels, is playing Petanque in the town square on Thursday mornings and being stopped in the street to say hello by locals. Coffee at one of the four cafe's after a bike ride or Petanque.
We love similar scenes, so much better than town life in our opinion. D & N xx

DeleteI could never live in a built up environment again after having lived in the countryside for nearly ten years!
ReplyDeleteWe think the same Vera after only 16 months. Dread driving back into busy Melbourne. Don't know how future generations will cope.
DeleteSo beautiful pictures of nature..
ReplyDeleteYes, every turn of a corner has another photo opportunity.
