  4. Gotta love the Conehead look in the bottom photo. "Meps! Meps! Tell them you're from France."

  6. hehehe. It's a bit of American culture. Here goes: Back in the 1970s there was a group of comedians called the Not Ready for Prime Time Players. They were the stars of a television show called Saturday Night Live. They were: John Belushi, Dan Akroyd, Gilda Radner, Laraine Newman, Jane Curtin, Garrett Morris, and Chevy Chase.

They did sketch comedy live on Saturday night tv, starting at 11:30pm or midnight.

One of the recurring sketches on the show was The Coneheads, extraterrestrials living the suburban American life: husband (Akroyd), wife (Curtin), and teenage daughter (Newman). With characteristic cone-shaped heads. When they were agitated, they would repeat "Meps. Meps. Meps." I guess it was something in their language.

They "consumed mass quantities" when they ate. Usually a sixpack of beer all at once and lots of potato chips.

When asked where they were from, they always said they were from France.

You can probably 'google' the Coneheads to find out more...
