We are just little further around the bay and our area would have several $M homes. We are around a km back from the beach and prices would be from $550k to $800k.
I've seen some houses with a price of $350k but then is the location where you want to be.
We are fortunate to have bought where we did way back.Leon Simshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17609891995057827081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1038987539224858410.post-87087579207465332012011-09-01T22:55:10.236+10:002011-09-01T22:55:10.236+10:00I have only been to Australia 3 times but never to...I have only been to Australia 3 times but never to Melbourne. I am sure it is a delightful city. I only know it through you Leon and Sue. I watched an HGTV "house hunter international" last week. An American couple were buying a house in "Hampton" (if I remember right). They found a house for close to 1 million US $. Maybe that is an expensive area?Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06031276247743743680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1038987539224858410.post-55646496354311261382011-09-01T22:52:07.865+10:002011-09-01T22:52:07.865+10:00Craig - I think in respect of your memories, it ha...Craig - I think in respect of your memories, it hasn't changed or maybe improved in that respect.
You would notice a difference architectually though. Melbourne has gone thru a process of reclaiming and beautifying many of its no so livable areas such as Docklands where such streets as Bourke and Collins now are probably are 1/3 longer. You must blog some of your Melbourne memories for your readers.Leon Simshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17609891995057827081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1038987539224858410.post-3008319820436936962011-09-01T16:51:36.474+10:002011-09-01T16:51:36.474+10:00I've been twice Leon and Sue, but way back in ...I've been twice Leon and Sue, but way back in the early 90's (when I was dating an Australian). I realise living in a city is different to taking a short break - but I can understand how Melbourne
was awarded the most liveable city title! Well deserved!!Diannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02806482148547283594noreply@blogger.com
